About Me

My name is András Somogyi. I work in computer graphics, primarily creating vector-based coats of arms.

Previously, I was an active contributor to Wikipedia under the name Madboy74, where I shared many of my works freely. Later, I decided to follow an independent path and continue my creative work through my Facebook profile.

The Címerrajzolás Facebook page publishes my vectorized coats of arms.

This website was created to present and share my work. Unlike Facebook, here you can download not only SVG vector files but also high-resolution PNG versions, allowing free use of the images under the terms of the Creative Commons 4.0 license.

For those less familiar with heraldry, I am building a continuously expanding knowledge base from external sources, covering topics such as heraldic right and left, heraldic colors, and other fundamentals.

My Goal

My goal is to present the heraldic heritage of Hungary and the surrounding countries, which is often overshadowed by Western sources. I place strong emphasis on detail and quality — a single complex design can take days, weeks, or even months to complete.

I create these works in my free time, so every form of support helps me dedicate more time to producing new content and continuously expanding the collection.
